Acts as the court's daily courier transporting files, mail and furniture among all court locations or throughout departments in a facility.Packs and loads files for transport from court locations to the records center using trucks, flatbeds, pallet jacks, dollies and forklifts.Carries and moves file storage boxes using battery operated forklift, ladders and hand trucks to perform file warehousing activities.Coordinates with third-party vendors for microfilm prepares document conversion and enters into tracking system pallets of files for microfilming and sends to vendor checks and verifies invoices against packing slips ships backup rolls to other facility. Prepares Destruction Orders and Notices for judge's signature in accordance with pre-determined criteria prepares and distributes legal and internal notifications reviews files for destruction and validates government codes and court guidelines are properly adhered to.Files and retrieves case files, legal documents and related case materials maintains the order of files in file folders and in filing systems assembles documents, identifies and organizes documents for transfer to the archives retrieves records from archives, if necessary.
